Interesting 5th valve linkage.... as is the leadpipe. Judging by the short body, leadpipe shape, and length of the 1st slide... it appears to be a CC tuba with a 2-3 combination 5th valve. But... the 'dogleg' off the 4th valve is for a BBb horn.

I'll bid. Parts is parts!

I actually pinged Miraphone with the correct serial number (the one listed in the description doesn't match the one on the bell) and they said all they can verify is that is was from the mid-70's because their records didn't go back that far. A 5-valve 186 BBb from the 70's would be *rare* I think, but this thing looks like parts at this point (sadly). If it's a CC horn then someone may have replaced the tubing leaving the 4th valve with a BBb part. I hope someone from here buys it so they can report what it *really* is...
