Mark,
According to this site: http://saxworx.com/boozy2.htm, it looks like 1966.
Miraphone 5050 - Warburton BJ/RF mpc
YEP-641S (recently sold), DE mpc (102 rim; I-cup; I-9 shank)
Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches:
"Always play with a good tone, never louder than lovely, never softer than supported." - author unknown.

New Standards were never marked as such, only referred to in B&H literature.

If it is an upright bell, 4+1 compensator, it is a model 181.

Reminds me of the story of the young lady who came home after a date with a French horn player...When her mom asked her how the date went, she replied: "He sure kisses really well, but he holds me funny."

Damn ... no wonder my playing sucked when I was in high school: my 181 was missing a valve! :tuba:

The Lee's Saxworks and Horn-u-copia lists for Boosey/Besson are based on a best-guess approximation, and are wildly inaccurate for some periods.

The Guide to dating Boosey and Hawkes instruments by serial number compiled by the Horniman Museum, is based on B&H's actual order books and stock books: books which contain not only the serial numbers of individual instruments, but the dated production records for the instruments from the time the order was entered into the production queue to the time it went out the door to the vendor/buyer. Details about a specific instrument can be found by consulting the appropriate volume in the Museum's collection.

352xxx appears in Instruments brass 27’ (82.108), which contains serial numbers 332345-356729, and dates between 21 Jul 1960 - 1 Oct 1962.
