Breathing Tool

Post by Euphtub »

Hey y'all,

I want to tell everyone about a great new breathing tool I've been using from the maker of the BERP.

It's called the Breath Awareness Tool (BAT). I am usually skeptical about these things, but this works great. It helps me in practice to reinforce proper breathing posture.

The greatest reward I've found is what it does for younger students. I've had beginners (5th and 6th grade) producing sound like 8th or 9th graders in a couple of weeks with the BAT. I was actually stunned at the immediate difference. Here's a clip of a young student and a college student.

I use it in my studio. But I can delete if you'd like.

I just thought I'd let other people know how it works.

Well…I've tried to delete every way I can and it won't work.

I reported my own post.

Now, I suppose it's up to Sean to blacklist me, shun me from the community, or whatever happens at this point. I didn't realize I was violating anything because I don't make any money off of these.

I just use with my students and it works really well.

NOPE - not hardly ! Unless he's makeing the money from this thing, then this is an educational discusion and theirfore OK.
Brian,

The post originally included several additional paragraphs: one about the inventor, one about a vocal teacher who tried it and is ordering 20 for her students, and one that included an offer by the OP to "hook up" anyone interested in purchasing one, and a link to what was presumablay the OP's website.

I notice the post has been edited twice: once in response to Grooving for Heaven's comment about the link not working. Presumably the second edit (which you'll note from the timestamp was made after my query) was to remove the commercial solicitation.

I removed that because it wouldn't let me delete it.

I've already apologized. I had no idea I violated anything.

By all means—keep flaming me.

Or we can behave like adults and just drop it.
