Looks like our fraudulent tuba lister on ebay has gone hog wild now!
I've been reporting all of his scam listings to ebay for the past two days, but they aren't taking them down
Among his items are the three tubas that we have seen repeatedly listed:
Thanks for reporting this guy. He lists under several different names and his 'store' looks legitimate.
The horns are listed at a "Buy it Now" price of $2500. Once you contact him (as I did), they take the ad down and say something about "lots of interest but nothing serious. If you're interested, we'll send you an ebay invoice (a WHAT?) and you can buy the horns that way."
Avoid bidding on these items. It's a total scam.

I try to report these to ebay each time they show up. I also contact the owner of the ebay account, who is usually unaware that the scammer has taken over.
One seller replied she was already on the phone with ebay security when I emailed her. She was a high-volume lister, with 2000 listed items of her own and the scammer slipped in an additional 300 in just a few minutes. She wrote that it was a nightmare for her to correct and felt thoroughly frustrated by the experience.
Indeed! I call ebay every time I see this guy's bogus listings. They are not ever listed on HIS ebay store, he somehow hacks into other people's accounts & list all his scam items on the accounts of these unsuspecting people. I wish ebay would be better security to prevent this crap from happening!
My favorite: "But It Now for $2,500.00 U.S. Dollars" You would think he could at least get the spelling right!
