Not China...
The Chinese instruments has been discussed both forwards and backwards but what about instruments from Pakistan? I wonder if anybody knows anything about the company Hakam Din & Sons? The reason I ask is because for the moment there is a tuba at ebay UK, with the Hakam name, a company about which the seller says "they have been manufacturing instruments for just over 100 years". Don't rule out the distinct possibility that this horn was actually made in London and just 'stenciled' with the name of an Indian maker/seller.
