Suspect Eric Brown, 28, was arrested last week in Citrus Heights and faces burglary charges in connection with the thefts at Tim's Music on the 2800 block of Marconi Avenue on May 2 and again on May 3, said Sacramento County sheriff's Sgt. Jason Ramos.
In both crimes, several musical instruments were taken. The owner of the store estimated the loss in the tens of thousands of dollars.
Citrus Heights police made the arrest after receiving an anonymous tip about the identity of the man shown in the store surveillance video which was released to the public, Ramos said.
It wasn't clear if any of the instruments were recovered.
