That's probably true. I may have have been me who said that I thought the decoration on the ferrules, backing plates, and bow guards was embossed (rolled) into the material while 'in the flat'.KiltieTuba wrote:I think I read on here, some time ago, that the ferrules and flanges weren't engraved, but stamped.
