My buddy Aaron posted on Facebook that he went to the finals but got cut for the super-finals round. Other than that, I haven't heard!

Anyone?

I found out via Facebook a few minutes ago that Josh Biere has won the principal tuba spot for the Madison Symphony Orchestra. Congrats to Josh!

I am equally confused.....
Oh well. For those that track these sorts of things... heres as much as I can remember..
**EDIT: There was a specific order and this was not it....***
**** Second Edit: Special thanks to somebody who reminded me that Gershwin was in fact in the second round, and not the first.*******
Round1
Vaughn Williams
Mahler 1
Hungarian March
Ride

10 advanced.... I think....

Round 2
Fountains
Symphonie Fantastique (2 excerpts)
Die Meistersinger (2 excerpts)
Petrushka
Gershwin

4 advanced myself, mike forbes, matt gaunt, and phil bloomer.
Round 3 (started at 10:45pm 8-|)

Fountains
Mahler 1
Bruckner 7

Thanks for the kudos everyone... looking forward to making some music with them! Some serious talent at the audition, you guys sounded great!
