Doesn't look like my Cervenys or any I ever saw a picture of.
Melton was supposedly going to make helicons, but the only one I can find a picture of was BBb.

Re: What make is this helicon?
The player is apparently from Slovenia, the concert hall is in Latvia, and the horn looks like a restored older instrument to me. One of our EuroTubeNet experts will have to get more specific than that, if possible.

With a 5th valve, nonetheless. I've not seen that before. It really doesn't resemble any Cerveny F's I've seen, certainly not the one I owned. The 5th valve shouldn't cause any changes in other slide arrangements. Interesting.

If anyone can really see anything (best view of the thing is near the end?) -- could the whole valve section have been transplanted from some other tuba?

Re: What make is this helicon?
I was checking out some of the other videos in the right column of this YouTube page and found one with another older helicon. What brand is it? But make sure the watch the video to the very end... the helicon and player meet their demise (thru special effects thankfully). A cool video either way!
