Upright bell for Besson New Standard euph?
Did Besson make upright bells for their recording bell euphs?

Never saw that documented.
Wouldn't there be several bells available from worn or otherwise damaged euphs?

I have no memory of seeing such an animal. Are you looking for an upright detachable bell?

Not really. if they existed from the factory and someone had one available, maybe; but honestly, the horn probably isn't worth getting a custom upright bell made (raw brass, dinged, 4 valve comp.).Daniel C. Oberloh wrote:Are you looking for an upright detachable bell?

You could use the collar from the front facing bell for a cut donor upright bell, or you could mount a one-piece upright bell.
The leadpipe may be set a bit lower on your euph than on a model coming with an original one-piece upright bell. Without photos it is hard to tell whether a new leadpipe would raise the pitch by being shorter than your current leadpipe.
