I'm still hoping to hear more reviews about them, honestly.
I know bububassboner did a nice little write up, but I would like to see others that have test-driven it and their thoughts about it.
Any and all input is appreciated.

The improved F, while improved still has substantial pitch issues. Sound and response is very good. Not quite ready for primetime, but getting there.

Those attending the US Army conference should get a chance to try. We plan to have one on the Wessex stand.Billy M. wrote:I'm still hoping to hear more reviews about them, honestly.

There is indeed a B&S style F on its way. We expect to have in stock February

While I've found many of the Wessex horns very good, I tried the new F a couple weeks ago and consider the intonation problems serious enough to make the horn unusable.Rivercity Tuba wrote:The improved F, while improved still has substantial pitch issues. How unusable?Sam Gnagey wrote: I tried the new F a couple weeks ago and consider the intonation problems serious enough to make the horn unusable.
I suppose, most (all?) F tubas have a awkeard intonation, as well the expensives too, and I think, they have 5- 6 valves not for fun.
At last, I have a Dalyan Ensemble5 F Tuba with the 5. valve for the right thumb, -and short fingers. So I look for a reasonably priced F tuba with 5-6 v for the left hand.

I thought that horn sounded a little funky in the YouTube video...
