The note right at 1:25 seems a little flat. Otherwise all seems ok.
Happiness is a warm tuba.

[Maybe the reason why his lips aren't centered on the mouthpiece is because that's what works for him.

Not everyone has the same facial structure and placement of the mouthpiece on their face.[/quote]
I was always told to look in the mirror and see if your centered....Being that I have no practicle experience I'm sorry I spoke out.........................................BB

I see. And those bands with the black and white wouldn't count as dixie band would they?
I lack control hm? Hey, as the video title says, I was just playing out...Could have just blasted everything out if I wanted to.

Blasting is NOT what it's about

Try to make the best sounding "MUSIC" that you can on your tuba or sousaphone, NOT noise

If loud is what you want, this is louder AND has a cleaner tone.
You are not even remotely close. Why try to cope with that?

As with blatting and blasting, this does not fall in the category of music.
You on the other hand tuboss2, can play music if you allow yourselves to :)

That's either a really flat C or a really sharp B. I may be completely wrong though. My ears are broken.

There are two tones, one from each ship...confusing :-)

One is pretty dead on C#, the other a sharp C (A=441.5ish) :tuba:
As the C# ship is enclosing, the tone might in fact be a few cents below
and actually closer to the sharp C (Doppler effect)

Well shucks. . . I guess I have imperfect pitch. At least I guessed it wasnt in tune at A=440. What do I win?
