Small shank euph mouthpiece
I have a student that I believe needs a larger mouthpiece than his current 6 1/2 AL. His school's euph is a small shank. Are there some mouthpieces out there that have larger cup/rim/backbore for small-shank horns? With his facial structure and embouchure, larger will be better, I think.
SD
I am convinced that 90% of the problems with rhythm, tone, intonation, articulation, technique, and overall prowess on the horn are related to air issues.

There's also a Schilke 51D in small shank. I found one at Amazon here:
Miraphone 5050 - Warburton BJ/RF mpc
YEP-641S (recently sold), DE mpc (102 rim; I-cup; I-9 shank)
Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches:

Re: Small shank euph mouthpiece
Most of the mouthpieces mentioned are deeper but just barely bigger than a 6-1/2 in rim size, and it's likely he needs a larger rim, not just a deeper cup. I will be in Knoxville doing some teaching on Thursday February 6 if your student would like an evaluation for his appropriate mouthpiece size.
