"This Is My House" Tindall CD

Post by Art Hovey »

After his performance at the workshop last Friday Dr. Tindall announced that his new CD would be on sale in the lobby. Mistakenly thinking that it would include the Romeo & Juliet Suite that he had just played, I forked over my $10 and became the proud owner of a piece of cardboard with a number on it.

Am I the only one having trouble un-zipping the downloaded files? My Windows XP un-zipped just 4 of them, and says it can't trust the others. There are instructions for over-riding the blockage, but they don't work.

Hi Art,

I apologize that you have had issues downloading the album. Please email Potenza Music at: sales@potenzamusic.com" target="_blank and they will make sure that you are able to receive the entire record, and clear up any technical issues that you may be having.

I hope that you enjoyed the recital. The Romeo and Juliet Suite will be released soon on an all romantic album.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know that we are reviewing our file formats also for download. We were attempting to offer loss-less only formats to keep the audio as high as possible (without just sending out large WAV files). That being said, if anyone who has purchased the album as issues with playing, please don't hesitate to contact me personally, pat@potenzamusic.com" target="_blank and we will find a recourse for you.

We are testing the download-only product with two recordings currently, mainly for (1) ease of use (although that doesn't seem to be exactly working as we had tested), and (2) price, which is $9.95 instead of $16.95 plus shipping and handling. It's the same great playing, but without the physical product.

Once again, I'm sorry if anyone is having trouble -- please don't think that you're going on deaf ears. We are trying to get this solved right now and get everything working smoothly.

Thanks so much, and have a great day.

Best,
Pat

Pat and Aaron both responded promptly to my query and got the sound files to me in several different formats via dropbox. They are on the case!
