I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.

Martin
Meinl Weston (technically * I guess...)
Wurlitzer*
Lyon and Healy*
Ludwig--I'm sure I've seen a Ludwig trumpet or cornet
Jenkins* a KC music store, stenciled horns in the 1910s but best known for publications and pianos
BMC (Horn Doctor, no tubas but trombones and sackbuts)
Gnageyphones?
JW Pepper

Re: Fill in the Blanks
How about going to Horn-u-copia and looking at all the names here?
The pull down menu on the left side of the window has several hundred names of companies, I even found a "Q!" And "X!" (one made Alto Horns and the other only a Cornet...)

Re: Fill in the Blanks
Low brass, not cornets and alto horns.
Did anyone mention Kalison?
The whole point is not a compendium, but an "ABC" book to show that bass players span the entire spectrum. It's just fun to see what is what, and who has played what. Hey, bloke posts these threads all the time and nobody complains! I'm not writing a book, or compiling an almanac. Just having fun.

Thanks for the "I" and "X"!
