Hirsbrunner vs. Adams CC's
Does the Adams CC have the same 'quirky' low BBb or AA that the Hirsbrunners have?

I guess I've been on the fringes too long. Since when are Hirsbrunners not built in Switzerland?KiltieTuba wrote:The nipply-chinesebloke wrote:If you order a "Hirsbrunner", who do you think is going to make it?

The answer to the original question in this thread is yes, at least to a certain extent. At the Army Tuba Workshop in DC some weeks ago I asked David Fedderley to look at it. After David had spent some time with the Adams CC, he assured me he could tackle it with some tweaking.

Well, the new Adams BBb tuba doesn't have any bad notes. The one they had at the NAMM Show played like a dream. No details or photos one their website yet, but its on the price list.
