Tuba workshop in Geretsried, Germany

Post by tubeast »

I´m going to that tuba workshop Melton (Meinl-Weston) is hosting the coming weekend. (It´s adressed to hobbyists and students and features an exhibition of B&S and MW tubas, I expect ALL of them, Yeah!!)
So are there any fellow tuba geeks lurking this forum that I´ll be meeting there ? I take it there are at least SOME continental Europeans around. I guess it will be fun checking out the horns and hearing somebody else´s opinion.

See and hear ya

Where can I get more details on this? I looked on MW's site and I found no mention.

Hallo chhite,

Oh, s´cuse me. That wasn´t polite, me being a guest on an American forum.

So, to all of you out there: the info on that workshop can be found on
http://www.melton.de/blech/geretsried2005.htm
The deadline for signing up was last Monday, so you´ll have to call and ask if they can squeeze you in the classes if you want to come.
Anyways, if you can participate in the classes or not, the exhibition by itself would sure be worth a trip.
´Bye
