That's a tasty beer! I need to see if I can find some in San Diego. We don't see very much Leinenkugle out here :|

Maybe you'll have better luck in South Carolina! (For that beer, at least... SC is hardly the beer capital that San Diego is!)

Hopefully! Although, I do have to say that even though I'm a native Southern Californian, I do not particularly care for west coast style beers. My favorites have always been German and Belgian style beers.

I was just told that Shiner has now made it to New York. Not my favorite beer of all time, but it's solid!

Reminded me of some of the German beers with lemon I had while there some years back.

We'll see... :?:
It's that time of the year for sure. I switch from Yuengling Light to Leinie's Shandy on May 1.

Just finished my first bottle at home, but have had quite a few at the local restaurants the last few weeks.

Tall boy Bud Lights at a bar. Same price as a regular heavy, but not anywhere near the Diesel!

I grilled some burgers this afternoon and grabbed whatever was in the bottom drawer of the fridge... a bottle of Sam Adams 'Winter White' left from a Christmas 2012 (I think) party. The label just said "best before March". It wasn't bad. I think there is another bottle in there. I might have it for Labor Day! :tuba:

Interesting discovery last night. When I drink a Mexican beer it is usually Modelo Especial, enjoyed with lime. Didn't have any lime so I substituted lemon. It was horrible. Totally ruined a very good beer. Who would've thunk it?

Yuengling Lager. It's been a few years... We didn't see much of it on the west coast.

Exactly! Crisp but not tart, smooth but not sweet. Don't I sound like a wine writer?
