Hi all,
Sorry in advance if I posted this in the wrong place. I recently bought a king 1250 sousa. Can I use King 2350 bits on a 1250? I heard that there are different bits for the older model. Anyone know if that's the case?
Thanks!

Re: King 1250 tuning bits
From the way I understand it, King receivers (neck entry) are all the same size the bits are come as a set(2) one larger at the neck and the smaller at the MP. The newer necks are different than the old ones. The old style is longer out of the horn, taller, the newer has a shorter profile longer on the mouthpiece side. Not sure of the model # I have but its old a 1952 King with a new style neck and 2 brand new bits ,,,,Thanks Joe Sellmansberger. King bits should work on both horns.

Thanks all. I have the bit that attaches to the neck. I found an online store (Brooke Mays) that will sell me the mouthpiece bit alone.
