Zach is a ridiculously good tuba player and musician. I highly doubt, however, that he is on Tubenet. As far as I know, he doesn't even have email! His solo CD is pretty cool, by the way.

Can't say enough good things about Zachary. He's a fantastic musician and a great teacher as well. He was very helpful to me in time in San Francisco. Heard him make some wonderful music at the SF Opera and in Masterclass. He even encouraged Conrad Susa to write in a Dijeridoo part I to The score for Dangerous Liasons!

Another unsung hero of the Bay Area is Peter Warhaftig of the SF Ballet. A wonderful player, teacher, and great all around Human Being.

Zach is one of the most inspiring musicians I have ever met. Anyone traveling to the SF area would do well to take a lesson with him!
He still doesn't have a cell phone, but I heard a rumor he bought a computer last year...

Hard to be specific from the video, but looks like a 5RV F tuba by B&S to me.

I've seen Mr Spellman do the VW concerto on a 3v F tuba. The most amazing part was how wonderful he made it sound on a 3v F.
Second on Mr. Wahrhaftig. He is responsible for at least 80% of any sort of competence I might have, plus if I ever forget what a tuba is supposed to sound like, I can just think about that PT6. Phenomenal musician, tuba player, person, and teacher.
