I just purchased one of Paul Krzywicki's rotary 3050s from Dave Fedderly. I'm expecting to get it in a few days, and I'll take plenty of pictures and post them for you.
What little background I'm able to glean on this instrument is that there are probably only a handful around. Paul has (or now, had) two, there's one in Boston, one in Puerto Rico (which I think might now be for sale), and DEG's floor model. That's all I know of.
Not many folks have played on one of these things. Those who have suspect that the rotary version is better than the pistons. Until I get mine, I can only go on what folks have said.
