Tuba Mute Help!

Post by Ashton »

I play a 4/4 Hirsbrunner 21 and I'm looking to get a mute. I'm starting college next year and the only mute I've used was a practice mute from my director. I'm new to the world of mutes and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I'm not looking for anything too pricey.
Thanks, Ashton

The Humes & Berg metal mutes are quite nice.

Why do you feel the need to own a mute, at this point? It is something that is needed very infrequently.
