Do you know their specific requirements? Most schools will ask you to prepare an excerpt from a jazz band part for your instrument.
There will also almost certainly be sight reading and possibly scales. If they want an additional selection of your choice, any standard head or solo transcription would be appropriate. For bass bone, a ballad played in the low register can be very effective. (suggestions: "My One and Only Love", "Skylark", "Chelsea Bridge", or "Prelude to a Kiss") These won't always lie well in the original key, so you might even want to transpose one to lie in a more effective range. Above all, you should be prepared to improvise if you are comfortable doing so, as this will greatly increase your chances of being placed where you want to be. Hope this helps..
