Help needed about engraving

Problem is the first word(s) in the top line, which ends with the word MUSICAL.

The second line says INSTRUMENTS CO.

The third line says Grand Rapids.


Below is Mich. and USA.

I tend to see that first word ending with EER, but I cannot make any sense of it.

Perhaps put a piece of paper over it and rub with a crayon. It might come out clearly on the paper.

Might have worked , if I had had the sousaphone and not just the photo.
