Very weird ad...
I didn't know that horn guys carried these horns, it's not on their web page.
I've only seen this model on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Stagg-77-TU-RW-SC ... B007S02I6Y" target="_blank
Also, I'm puzzled by why somebodies asking price would be so much lower than the purchase price. (Albeit probably a reasonable price for the horn in question.)

The seller told me he bought it used and the price is because he tried selling to a few local shops but they would only offer him 700 because of a ding or dent in the bell.PMeuph wrote:Very weird ad...

If i was looking for a concert horn I'd be all over it but I'm not a music major so id have no use for it. I'm sure the seller is trying to just get their cash out quick.

Maybe it's the same basic tuba as this one?

Better than one might think. One member of our Section plays one of these Schillers, and the principal in this year's MD All-State Community Band concert played one too (see pics in the Low Brass Section Photo thread). Still, it's a good idea to try before you buy.Jose the tuba player wrote:Looks like it
