Beautiful CC Yamaha tuba

I played this tuba. It is fantastic. Anyone wanting top level professional tuba should buy this. You are getting a new tuba for a deep discount. I can't justify this purchase at my level of playing but it is a great deal for a pro or aspiring pro.

We have a very different definition of what a deep discount is. 8k is still a lot of money. Also, it seems kinda suspicious to me that your first post is just an ad for an ebay posting by a well-known seller.

I interpreted this as, this new poster tried the the tuba that is for sale by the Eskimo. Not that the poster IS the seller.

And if it's in like-new condition, it would be a good deal. New, these are almost $14k.

A good friend from college owned one of these and used it throughout undergrad. Excellent player, and this was his "only horn."

I play a Yamaha so I tried this Yamaha because I could. I live in the locale and thought the playing insight might be of value. I have bought instruments from the seller too. And I play in the same (Kirkland Civic Orchestra) orchestra as the seller. It's a great horn and it will make someone very happy. One man's opinion.

I owned one for several years 15 or so years ago.it was a good horn.required a bit of slide pulling as many tubas do.overpriced new, some good deals used.my opinion.

Quinn doesn't sell junk... But he also knows what it's worth. Fair prices, but don't expect any "deals."

I also tried this ax. Not my cup of tea, but an excellent tuba for way less than you can usually nab one. I'm more a Germanic-sounding dude, and this is much more American in tone. Great horn, though.

And yes, I know the dude, and I own several Yamahas. They are wildly underrated.

(Someone should buy his YEB-632 NEO... It's extraordinary and I need to feed my kids... and ... I need this one... Put me out of my misery.... )
