If you read the linked article you would have seen that, bigtubby. David Silverman has been part of The Simpsons (Art Direction, Director, Producer) since the very beginning.

(BTW, I am in that video you posted.)

No, that was the tuba/trumpeter named Carpy, another longtime member of the Burning Band. I was in the back where the microphone was - doing the announcements and singing.

I usually don't read articles from my cell phone. Sorry about stating the obvious, I thought that some here might not have known Mr. Silverman.
