Tuba Flute Duets
Hey guys, my friend (a flute/pic player) and I are looking to play some sort of duet in a concert next semester, but couldn't find much in the way of that, so I figured some of you guys might know. Also, if you know anything not necessarily for tuba and flute, but for some similar combination that could be arranged, feel free to post that too. Thanks a ton.

My daughter is a flute player (as I was once long ago). Look for flute/bassoon or flute/cello duets that may serve your needs.

Telemann flute sonatas: just read the bass lines from the piano parts. (easy)
Bach 2-part inventions also work well, but are a bit more challenging.

Speaking of Telemann, the canonic duets work well for tuba duet -- would think they'd be good for tuba & flute as well.Art Hovey wrote:Telemann flute sonatas: just read the bass lines from the piano parts. (easy)
