Price ? - Cerveny 686

just wondering what a fair price is on a used Cerveny 686 (4 rotor) BBb in very good shape.

Woodwind/Brasswind is selling them NEW for about $3100.00. Depending on age and condition, I would imagine $2,000 to $2500.00 would not be unreasonable. But what do I know?

I bought a 686 in excellent shape, used, about four years ago through that auction site for $1750, including gig bag (I also had to pay for shipping). I sold it about six months ago for $2000 after having put about $200 into it for cleaning, rotor alignment, etc. I also put a few small dents in it along the way. Hope that helps give you a price calibration.
