Artist discounts?
Do you guys know if Artists for a brand have a discount on the products they endorse? Like a Yamaha artist getting a really good discount on a Yamaha tuba or something like that. Just curious, mainly.

Yes.
I believe Yamaha will sell their owns to their artists at Dealer cost. (I may be wrong)
However, the real benefit of being a Yamaha artist is they will sponsor some trips/concerts/recordings/etc that display Yamaha/(or other brands) .
I saw Adam Frey at a festival (about 8 years ago) because Yamaha had paid for his way there and his fee. (The festival paid for his room and board, iirc)
