Euphonium just is something about a tool for making nice sounds. The illustrated sample can be seen as an early stage of the technological road towards the MP3 player. It is all about listening to music without having to pay for live musicians.

Ya, Euphonium, in general, is a vague name for something...

Euphonous, euphony, all those are a vague term for "sounding pleasant" or something being pleasant to the ears...

THe term Euphemism--of course means a pleasant way of stating something that is otherwise unpleasant...

I often wonder who first keyed the term Euphonium :) Musta had a high regard for the sound it made.

Hey there is a greek stringed instrument- something like a long-necked tenor mandolin- called the bazouki (ba-zoo-kee).
