Re: Is Baltimore Music safe
Ted's Music got smashed up yesterday. This is around the corner from Peabody.
Beyond that, I'm not sure what else may have happened in Baltimore with regards to the music scene, and I'd be interested to know as well. For the most part, the riots were in a different part of town, anyway.

Baltimore Brass and several other music stores are in Catonsville, MD in Baltimore County, not Baltimore City.
It's still one of the nicer suburbs that grew rapidly following the last time Baltimore burned and everyone gave up and left.
So they should be OK.
For now.

Yeah, BBC is WAY far from the action yesterday. Riots in Catonsville...that'll be the day!
Fun fact -- I grew up about 3 miles from BBC. Mama Bort used to drag me with her to the sewing store 2 doors down where I was a kid. Many years later, it was shocking to me that such a relevant and unique store was located so close to that.

I was at BBC this morning- they're fine. For those not familiar, Catonsville is well to the west of the riot zone.
