Re: 4V King CC
Interesting looking set-up.
I wonder why whoever did the conversion didn't extend the 1st & 3rd top slides upward a few more inches, so they'd be more easily "pullable" from above? There's plenty of tubing extending below the valve nest that could have been shifted.

Re: 4V King CC
Has anyone played this tuba? It looks like it might be really good, and a 5th can be added. If the bell does not introduce pitch problems or have issues with clarity or projection it could be a great horn. Wish I could play it.

I'm sure is plays like the original King CC tubas with a really great sound and not so 'point and shoot' intonation.

Re: 4V King CC
This one is a BBb that has been cut to CC. The Gnagey horns are essentially the same thing, only using a "known" bell. The intonation on them is great. It all depends on where the cuts were made and how well the resulting mismatch in tubing end sizes are compensated for.
This one looks to be a very simple design for 4th valve and lacks a 5th; it looks cleaner than one of Sam's horns in its layout. I like that. Looks like it might be a very nice horn.
Of course, the bell will determine the basic sound, and it looks to be a bit large for my tastes. Still, the bell could be changed out if the basic tuba is dialed-in well.
Worth a look if one lives in the area. Of course, I don't, so too bad for me. I was hoping to hear from someone who knows about this tuba first hand.

Re: 4V King CC
The seller dosen't mention anything about intonation so I would assume it could be a challenge. In addition there are no returns so buying this tuba sight unseen would be a big risk.
Good luck!
