Loud tuba mouthpieces
For those who have and use a Loud tuba mouthpiece, I wanted to get your opinion on what you think about it. Does it play well? Is it better than a regular mouthpiece? I'm considering of getting one.

Re: Loud tuba mouthpieces
The LM-7 , weight and stainless steel aside, is a regular mouthpiece. It is as good as the user. Their LM-12 model is not regular- simply designed for maximum volume and projection. I could make an LM-7 work, I gave the 12 away.

Re: Loud tuba mouthpieces
Exceptional low range and great articulation. High range not as full as I would like. Everybody is different so YMMV. Well made - just didn't work for me.
I do regularly use an LM-10 (Tommy Johnson model) in my 185.
