Old (early 1900s?) Alexander BBb proto-163
1976 Sonora (B&S 101) 4-rotor BBb
1964 Conn 20J/21J BBb (one body, both bells)

I'm 99% sure it's BBb. My Sonora is the same horn, only newer- uniball linkage having superseded S-links by that time.

Yes... it's a BBb and probably not REAL old. Maybe from the 70's.

Those are 4/4 horns. Basically they are B & S model 101 stencils. Big horn with a 'stovepipe' bell. The bore is probably around .760".

Agreed. ISTR there was one for sale a few years ago, bought new in 1974 and it had S-links. If so, they must have made the switch between then and 1976.

Yep, these tubas are very tall -- 43-44 in.

Except for the leadpipe, it doesn't seem to be in too bad of condition.
