What a terrific job you did on that horn!! It looks fantastic! As a player of an "elderly" horn myself, I really appreciate the looks of the old tubas. Well done!

It does have a nice sound. I hope there's a more comfortable way to hold it, but I can't make any suggestions - apparently it needs to tilt more, to get the valves more in reach (including 4th), but the massive bell might make that a struggle. I guess maybe the rest of the awkward posture was due to being partly swallowed by the couch.lost wrote:Here is the best recording I could muster.

I thought it sounded fine. It is a beautiful horn. Want to polish up my 22J for me.
