Cerveny Tornisters

Post by bigtubby »

Today I spent some quality time with my Cerveny BBb tornister - made new stop bumpers, cleaned and oiled valves and linkages, then played a gig with it.

Now I am wondering how many of these survived the wars? If anyone has one or knows of one it would be interesting to start a list.

Talking about original Cerveny tornisters, not the Chinese knock-offs of the Tucci redesign.

I know of only these:
1. My BBb.

2. Stas Cheremushkin in Moscow owns and uses a BBb.

3. Phil Holcomb has a BBb tuba and a Bb baritone.

4. Recently there was an F tornister on ebay - does anyone know where that went?

It would be interesting to find more and of course horn dorn is always welcome.

Looking for original Cerveny tornisters, I'm thinking that there aren't a lot of them left.
