Re: Conn Jumbo
I'd drive to Ohio for that. Seller said bell tenon is aprox 9.5 inches. A whole lot of Sousa!

Seller's dimensions for a 46K are accurate.

Re: Conn Jumbo
Who won it. What are your plans for it. I came close but began to wonder if the valves would need work besides the issues of missing valve caps and missing gooseneck.

Re: Conn Jumbo
No me. I already have a 48K. The missing valve caps are a non-issue. Although the profile has changed over the years... the threads have not. About any Conn valve cap will work on that horn. Kiltie already pointed out that the neck and bits are still available as they are still produced for the 20K sousas.Tom Eshelman wrote:Who won it. What are your plans for it. Re: Conn Jumbo
Maybe someone within reasonable driving distance who's going to polish it up and sell it for twice the price without the local-pickup restriction.

Re: Conn Jumbo
I tried but it went too high. Didn't really rellish driving to northern Ohio. Was a Cool horn though.
