That conn is a beast. Wow had no idea the jumbo sousaphones differed that much. Why does photobucket never show me pics when i click on it. 27 lbs isn't mammoth.

So you don't think the 27 pound Martin is "mammoth?" Tell you what: play one a few hours and see what your left shoulder says about it.

None of them look very comfortable, weight notwithstanding. I would really miss the shoulder rest plate that's built into my 40K.
