I've played both of these, know the owner, and they're exactly what they appear to be: Top notch recording basses :tuba: He's a buddy, full disclosure, and he's a good egg. He went on a long search through myriad instruments, and stuck with these for quite some time. Ultimately, he chose something smaller... but he wishes he could keep 'em all.

Let me know if you have questions and I'll either answer or ask him.

The 24J is a beauty! I think I would like to get the stand to go along with it. Sure would improve those long rehearsal sessions sitting in the back row counting rests.

The King is a beauty also. I had a similar horn (2340) and it played really well. What things are worth and what they sell for are two different things, though...
