King tuning bit?

Post by edsel585960 »

I'm pretty sure this is a King bit but I never had a King sousaphone so I'm not sure. Any opinions? Thanks. :) http://s1029.photobucket.com/user/edsel ... t=3&page=1" target="_blank" target="_blank

Not the greatest images but I think it's a King bit. Can't tell if it's the inner or outer one... the outer one being the one the MP fits directly in to. They are not interchangeable.

Pictures are definitely better. Yes... it's a King bit. However... the pictures don't show that. If you have the bit and your mouthpiece fits into it then it's the outer bit. If not... it's the bit that fits into the neck.

Now I know! I have had this bit kicking around for years and never knew what it was, only that it wasn't a Conn. Turns out it is the outer one. Anyone need it? :D
