There was a YARK brand at one time, It was not related to YORK and this horn has YARK on the bell. Not a great tuba waiting to be reassembled.

It's not a "Yark"; some of the German Yorks had a triangular "o" making it look like "Yark"... I often refer to post-war Yorks as
Yark" that way around the shop.
