Hello,
I am playing with the idea of switching to a different (bigger) tuba in the relatively near future and was seeing if anyone had any interest. I currently play on a miraphone 291 bruckner which is a 5/4 tuba. I have owned it now for 5 years and am considering moving on to a different horn. Specifically, I am looking for something bigger so the trades that I would be willing to consider are large orchestral horns (Thor, PT-6, Baer, and etc.). I would pick up the extra costs if need be to make the trade even too once we determine the price. The horn would come with the standard blue miraphone bag. There is one small blemish on it that was there before I purchased from WWBW but other then that there are a few dents but nothing that effects the playing. Other then that I would say the horn is in excellent condition and plays exceptionally well. The asking price is $8000 O.B.O. You may email or PM for details or questions and I will be happy to answer. Pictures upon request.

Great looking tuba!
I'm convinced that I would own one of these, if only Miraphone had come out with it a few years earlier. I liked the 1291, wanted rotors and went to the 188, and then wanted something a little bigger than the 188. Yep, that's the Bruckner.

I played Kevin's Bruckner a couple times when he was at Akron. It's a great horn and would be worth every penny that he is asking for it. Good luck!
