Re: Who wants one?
I wonder if they could make a plastic tuba with a brass valve set, sort of like the fiberglas sousaphone but in a tuba. I know there have a been a few of these over the years. Harv Hartman used to play one. I forget the brand. But it seems to me like it would be a good idea for a small 3/4 size student tuba. It would be small, lightwieght, and be able to take a little abuse without denting, although I guess it could crack.
What do you think? should I go into business and make a million??

Re: Who wants one?
There is a demo by an Aussie dealer of a Tiger Trombone w/trigger and a BBb tuba. It doesn't sound bad however, $1242.00 plus AT&T and duty would be tough for a practice piece.
My community band would whig if I showed up with the fire engine red tuba.

Re: Who wants one?
Yes, I want one. And I think, it is not too expensive.
But these coulors? Should I sit with a red or yellow tuba in a sinfonic orchestra? Black is too sad for me.
Sometimes is a silver Tiger tuba to see- but not available. Why not?
At last: Tiger tuba are not available here in Germany, and also the Austrian dealer stopped the trade relations.
It's a shame.
