BBC stenciled (Yamaha 641 copy) BBb tuba $1,900

Hello,

I have a student whom recently just purchased a CC tuba and is selling this horn. It is a Baltimore Brass Company stenciled copy of a Yamaha 641 BBb tuba (4 rotary valves). This is one of the better Chinese copies I've played and is in very good condition. Horn also comes with an Altieri gig bag. Asking price is $1,900 OBO plus shipping and the instrument is located in MD.

'Stencil' and 'copy' is not the same thing. A 'stencil' is the real thing with a different name. A 'copy' is just that.... a copy.

If this is the horn that I think it is, then it is a BBC (JZ stenciled) Jinbao that is a copy/clone of the Yamaha 641. I can't find the horn on the Jinbao website, but to my knowledge the JZs are made by them (though I also don't see the 2341 copy on the Jinbao site, so maybe BBC has a second/another supplier or maybe has these stenciled by King and Yamaha?).

Either way, I'm sure this is a fine player as I have played many of the JZ horns and haven't really found a bad egg, yet.
