Ned's got his Sunday-go-to-meetin'-best 3-valve Buescher for the picture!
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Minstrel ephemera, especially a large broadside, of an individual with of all things a tuba being built as a tuba soloist, should do well...

Is it a Buescher, or is it a Besson/Boosey?

Might it be compensating?

Looks to me like the Buescher "Epoch" valve system.
Not compensating.
Turned around on this cornet.

Me wantee! But for the price, I'd just get a maniqin, tux, mustache, and a wall-hanger.

19th century Conn tubas entered on 2nd valve.
