SKB case for flying

Post by Tubadork »

Hey,
Has anyone flown with an SKB case?

I will be flying in September with my PCK and I don't have a flight case and don't want to drop the cash for an Accord case right now. SKB looks like they have a warranty that looks like they will cover damage from flying.

Thanks,
Bill

p.s. if anyone has a flight case they would be interested in lending me or renting for September 6-9, let me know too.

I wouldn't, I cracked an SKB on a truck and UPS bent a brand new one for me. SKB will cover damage to their case. And that's if you get it to them.

The good thing is the money saved by not buying an expensive case can instead be used to buy a new bell for the Gronitz.
