Euphonium WB EU-804 L

nickel silver outer and inner slides
bore 15 through 16.8 mm
bell diameter 300 mm

Marketed in Germany for EURO 989.00 including 16% VAT

According to the seller this instrument is made in China.

This is the first sample I have seen of a comp euph coming out of China. If this is old news, then I will stay your humble

I think the greatest "tell" as to the potential quality of these instruments is that the pictures SHOW the third valve to be either:

1. having a VERY short stem
2. severely out of alignment
3. sans spring

Thinking I'll pass on this one...

If it's got such a "short throw" third valve, than maybe what it's compensating for is a little more Freudian...
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

D'oh.

Or that. ;)

No more posts at the end of the school year for me. My frequency of dumb mistakes seems to grow exponentially this time of year.
