silent brass gone? suggestions for Eupher?

Post by sloan »

My son the Eupher tells me that Silent Brass is dead - he's looking for something similar. Any suggestions?

Best Brass works great for me - and it sits far enough down the bell that with it inserted, the horn still fits (albeit snugly) in the case.

Denis Wick offers one like that too. It fits inside the horn for easy travel.

Best line from the description on that page: "and fulfills all the pretensions one needs for touring"

Hmmm... I have bought Best Brass to my trombone
BUT sound was awful. I sent the item back to seller.
Please note: I know that very many people like really much Best Brass. Maybe my copy was a defect ?
I now use Yamaha Silent Brass (wih my bass trombone).
(And also Best Brass Practice Mute).
Just a comment - hope that I dont confuse...
