Yamaha stadium stand

Post by Jerryleejr »

I know it's listed for 4/4 tubas, but does anyone know the actual dimensions it will hold? 4/4 is subjective by manufacturer.

I gave one to my local middle school a year or so ago. It fit their Eastman 201 'clone' but not the REAL Yamaha YBB-201/321 tubas. It was given to me by a fellow who bought it for his YEB-321... which it would not fit, either.

My eyes lit up !! I thought Jerry posted, "Yankee Stadium Stand." I don't know what that is, but I want one.

Bill, You are not the only dyslexic and hopeful Yankee fan out here in cyberland. Must be those weary tuba eyes. Closest ever I got was back in the '60s playing Your Father's Mustache Tuba for the Mets, and they never had a 'Shea Stadium Stand.' We could hope. Actually we rarely played a note, nice idea, but... Play between innings and the announcer drowned us out. Play during time outs and the banjos annoyed the pitchers in the bull pen or the manager out on the mound. Play during a homer, well the Mets never got that many. Just saying....

Driving the train further off the tuba tracks:
My son's Little League team is the Yankees this year. Love the uniforms, but as a Northern Californian, I've never been a fan. I admit that I find the Yankees' success far less distasteful now that Giants have finally ended their World Series drought. :P
It's well that he didn't end up on the Dodgers, else I'd have to burn a perfectly usable uniform at season's end.
My son's buddy (originally from Illinois - the whole family is huge Cubs fans) ended up playing for the White Sox.
